Firmware Update
In addition to updating the GT Design Studio software, updating the firmware of the GT-SP TFT module itself allows you to fix device issues and access functional enhancements that were unavailable in previous versions.
[Note 1] When starting a new development project, please ensure the TFT module is updated to the latest firmware version to benefit from performance improvements and additional features.
[Note 2] When flashing a project to the TFT module for mass production, please ensure that the firmware version used during development (validation) is also flashed to the device.
Production Firmware: This is the standard firmware installed at the time of shipment.
Evaluation Firmware: This version includes performance improvements and new features not yet in the production version. When using this version, please review the revision notes for details on the changes.
How to Update Firmware
Updating via "GT DESIGN STUDIO"
1. Download the firmware you wish to install.
2. Launch GT DESIGN STUDIO.
3. Connect the TFT module to your PC using a USB cable and power on the module.
4. Click the "FW Update" (FW更新) button in the top toolbar.
5. Click the "FW Update" button.
6. Select the firmware file you wish to install and execute the update.
